Check this out - I upgraded to Digital Cable. See normally, the come to your house and set up the box, and charge you $15. and, they lock the box out so it doesn't receive any channels you don't pay for. We opted not to get installation (I think I can plug Component Video cables in - :duh: ) and to pick the box up. BUt for some reason, they didnt even take the cable box out of its box to configure it. They just gave it to us unopened. So, it's unconfigured. Meaning I get every single channel, minus pay-per view. All the movie channels - HBO CineMax, ShoTime, Starz, all in beautiful 1080i hi-def. It's freakin sweet.

Only problem is Fox isn't working in HD. Comcast says this is happening to a bunch of people and is gonna be fixed.

I have TimeWarner HD Digital Cable with all the bells and whistles, every channel, etc. (we have like 80 movie channels it's ridiculous) even the built in DVR so I can pause, rewind, live tv and set it to record any show or movie i want...i love it, all on our 50" Panasonic Plasma TV...good stuff, my parents bought it last year around christmas time, and I remeber I watched every dvd i had in widescreen 16:9 without the annoying black bars...just like in the theatres...i love that tv...clearest picture i have ever seen in my life, i watch discovery HD all the time, just because it looks so good...
