I currently have 2 monitors hooked up to my Acer Aspire AM3201-EF8450A Phenom X3 8450(2.1GHz). The video card i purchased to use the dual monitors was ---EVGA 512-P3-N954-TR GeForce 9500 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card --- My other two slots I have are --PCI Express 2.0 x1 and PCI v2.3. Here is my question and just letting you know computers are not my specialty.

I need to hook up a 3rd monitor for my business and casual gaming. What video card do I need to get or what would be the cheapest/best option for me?? I was told to get another EVGA so I wouldn't have any compatability issues but not sure if that is true. Please let me know what other info u might need and i would be glad to give as much info as possible.

My mistake was that i thought i could just buy the same one and install it and go from there, Well I learned my lesson when I opened up the computer and found out the 2nd vid card didn't fit. ANY HELP?????? thanks

i would think this would work since you are only using this as another dvi or vga adapter.

i used to have a gtx 260 with a ati 300xt as an dangle and that worked out fine. except i'm using two pcie 2.0 and you are using one pcie 2.0 and a pcie x1. the formula should still be the same but if anything happens keep the receipt.
