Hi im new i just got a PCIe 800xt and wanted to OC it

I have a dell 3 gig system w/1gig and a 350 psu

do u need to change anything in the bios or is it just software that you use

P.S I know Dell's suck di*k!!

hopefully your power supply won't hold you back, dell is notorious for giving customers the absolute minimum required. also, be sure that you understand overclocking isn't safe, it's not that hard to fry them. if you want to overclock make sure you go step by step, very slowly and carefully watching for artifacts and etc.

either use radlinker or ati tool *google it* , they're both quality programs :)

which part would u fry vcard or psu??

whitch one do u prefer radlinker or atitool?

i never actually used atitool, just radlink. so i can't give you an unbiased opinion. my 9800pro oc'd pretty well with radlink, but i'm not a hardcore oc'er so meh hehe.

if the psu isn't cutting it, who knows what'll fry. could be the card, maybe the psu would go out first, maybe the entire system. bottom line is, don't skimp on the psu. perhaps you should spend $50 on www.newegg.com and buy the 420watt thermaltake psu.
