Putting up some sort of link to a relief fund is fine, in fact it helps the sites image. But I think doing something like that might be a bit much, and it probably wouldn't work to boot - its obviously an image hosting site, and would probably look gimmicky.

how would you be doing anything bad though? you take up a total of 10-20 seconds of random people's time, give out a couple bucks to a charity - which you'll probalby make back from people clicking ad's. it's a win win scenario for everybody :)

That just sounds really selfish and greedy to me though. Its like using a natural disaster to make profit, it just isnt right.

It sparks growth and development in mulitple areas. Our benefits are a side effect of helping them. Just count it as predetermined blessings.

I just figure it is all based on your intentions as to whether it is right or wrong. If you do it for the intention of helping realizing that your benifits are a side effect then cool beans. If you do it with your benefits in mind and them getting some charity as a side effect that's not so good.

arguing the principle of the idea - if the 'bad intentions' made $50,000 for example, which gave people a bed, water, and possibly saved a life or two.. does that still mean it's a double-edged sword? that you're taking advantage of the people who were hurt?

IMO If you're directly doing it for your own benifit and them getting help is just to make you look good. Then I say that's kind of cruel. Better than nothing yes but at the same time not cool.
