.asf files

how come I can't fastforward/skip forward while viewing .asf movie files? or go backwards. All I can do is stop/play/pause.

Is there anyway to change it?

Are you only getting this with .asf files? I notice this happens to me with 'some' .avi files but it has only happened with a few I have tried & all others have been OK.

I've only noticed it with .asf files so far. Doesn't matter now, it was a crappy clip anyway :D
