Event exec shutdown

Hey do any of you guys know how to have your computer shutdown on it's own after it finishes a task? Like a download for instance. My computer is loud enough now that it'll wake me in the middle of the night if I leave it on but I don't want to be awake till it finishes it's tasks.

Hmmm... try DAP (Download Accellarator Plus)... it has a feature to shut down your PC after your download has finished. :)

Cool. Thanks GB. Do you have any idea if there is a similar thing incorporated into windows? Though what you said will help with the downloads, I want to be able to shutdown after doing full virus scans and defrags and what not as well.

Hmm.... I know a few programs have those options; just gotta find ones that do! :mrgreen: Don't know of any windows features to do it myself.. :oops:
